Introduction

 On November the 6th we gave students an introductory session on the assignment "History of a site". First we showed our work and explained the project "(in)site, site-specific photography revised", talked about our methodology, goals, ... 

 Within this assignment students will have to work together in small groups of 4 to 6 people. All photography is done with a large format camera on black and white. 

 We selected several sites from which students have to choose, other suggestions can be discussed:

 - Coalmines of Limburg, Belgium

 - Zoniënwoud (forrest)

 - Brussels

 - Port of Antwerp/Zeebrugge

 - Westhoek (World War 1 battlefields, Fields of Flanders)

 - Tour of Flanders (important cycling event in Belgium)

Before starting students have to do some historic research about the site and work out their concept. They have to present it in the next session, followed by a group discussion.
